Our Mission

Careprovider.org Foundation is a non-profit 501 (C) social and human service organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving communities, families, residential care groups and organizations, in partnership with their affiliates, by means of equality education, training and resources availability. We are committed to identifying and addressing social and human services concern such as at-risk youth, foster youth, LGBTQ youth, CSEC youth, Refugee Children and families, mental health, educational concerns, and community development.

Bringing Help Where It’s Needed

We have recently partnered up with various organization to promote, support, strengthen, and offer appropriate support to the newly arrived Afghan refugees in Southern California. We will be focusing on assisting the newly displaced Afghans (individuals and families) by providing them with comprehensive and wholesome critical and essential services, which includes services and resources that are timely, trauma informed, culturally sensitive, and are necessary for a smooth and successful resettlement and integration into their new communities.

What We Do

Careprovider.org Foundation assists newly arrived community members in the process of resettling into this country by teaching, guiding, assisting, referring, and enrolling them into required and needed services.  Careprovider.org assists the newly arrived Afghans with services such as finding low-income rentals, completing apartment applications, enrolling children in school, enrolling adults in English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, enrolling in college, employment services such as resume writing, building job hunting skills, utilizing computers, and working with employers to offer jobs to these new community members, assistance with public transportation, cultural integration counseling and classes, tutoring assistance.

 

Careprovider.org Foundation also provides the newly arrived individuals and/or families with  a welcoming package which includes but not be limited to, essential clothing,  initial hygiene supplies, some household items, and groceries or grocery vouchers.  We also collaborate with our community partners to provide additional services and items to the individuals and families, which may include sheets, blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene supplies and groceries, school supplies for children, and baby supplies for families with younger children, such as diapers and wipes.
